Croydon · Outer east

Need a Shopify developer who actually understands your store — and can get to Croydon?

I'm Jus. I build and fix Shopify stores from Mooroolbark. Croydon's a short drive. You deal with me, start to finish.

Most of the job is remote — store access, a call, a clear plan. If you want me on-site, that's easy from here. No CBD office pilgrimage required.

The problems that usually show up

Traffic arrives. Sales don't. Someone's poured money into ads or SEO and the store shrugs.

Nine times out of ten it's not mysterious. Product pages that never answer the buyer's real questions. A theme that looked sharp in the demo and fell apart on a phone. Checkout that asks for more than it needs. Shipping and pickup buried where nobody looks.

Out here you're often selling against bigger catalogues and louder brands. The store has to make the case quickly — why buy from you, how fast it arrives, what happens if something's wrong — or people bounce.

That's the work. Fix what's leaking sales. Or build something new when the current theme has nothing left to give.

How I can help

Four services. Fixed prices. Unsure which one? Tell me what's going on — I'll point you at the cheaper option if that's enough.

  • Conversion audit

I go through your store page by page, record a video walkthrough, and give you a written list of what to fix first. Best starting point if you've got traffic and weak sales.

    From $699 AUD
    10–14 days
  • Updates and theme customisation

Specific changes — layout, product page, speed, a feature the theme almost does. You tell me what you need, I quote it, you approve, I do it.

    $130 AUD/hr
    Most jobs: 1–3 hours
  • Theme setup and launch

A premium theme, set up to take orders. Makes sense if you want it looking professional without paying for a custom build.

    From $2,400 AUD
    2–3 weeks
  • Custom store build

From scratch, when a theme can't do the job. You own the code. Built so people can buy, not just so it looks good in a screenshot.

    From $7,500 AUD
    6–8 weeks

Why work with me instead of an agency

Agencies are fine if you want a big team and a long runway. If you need the store fixed, that's a lot of process for a job one person can do.

Twenty years building websites. The recent stretch has been Shopify — 200+ stores. Small independents and brands like JB Hi-Fi and FXD Workwear. Same person either way.

I'll tell you when something isn't worth doing. Not enough traffic for an audit yet? I'll say so. Theme setup cheaper than a custom build? That's what I'll recommend.

What working together looks like

Message me through the contact form. I reply within a business day. Audits are $699 and usually start within a week. Builds get a quote after we talk — I only take one or two at a time.

I'm in Mooroolbark, so Croydon is local. We can meet on-site if that helps, or keep it to calls and shared screens. Either way you get a video walkthrough, a written list, and a store you can run without chasing me forever.

Prices are in AUD. No lock-in. For audits, if I can't give you a clear plan to improve the store, I'll refund you.

Common questions

Do you visit businesses in Croydon?

+

Yes. I'm based in Mooroolbark — next suburb over — so coming to Croydon for a face-to-face isn't a special trip. Most of the work still happens in your Shopify admin, but if you'd rather sit down with the store open and talk it through in person, we can.

Who am I actually dealing with?

+

Me. Jus. Studio Elephant. You talk to the person doing the work — not an account manager, not a junior, not someone offshore. Audits start from $699.

Can you improve an existing Shopify store, or do you only build new ones?

+

Both. Most jobs are on stores that already exist — product pages that don't convert, themes patched past their useful life, checkout that fights people, pages that drag on mobile. If a full rebuild isn't the right move, I'll say so.

What happens when I get in touch?

+

I reply within a business day — usually sooner. Tell me about the store and what's broken or missing. I'll tell you what I'd do next. Often that's a $699 audit. Sometimes it's a quote for a specific fix.

Tell me what's going on with the store.

I'll reply within a business day with a straight recommendation — audit, a small fix, or a build. No pitch deck.
