What a $699 AUD conversion audit looks like
Shortened, anonymised example of the written priority list. Real audits are longer, store-specific, and include a video walkthrough of the live purchase path.
Store snapshot
- Category: specialty food DTC
- Theme: premium third-party theme
- Traffic: enough monthly sessions to diagnose conversion, not a brand-new launch
- Brief: “Ads work. Checkout feels soft. Mobile feels cluttered.”
Priority fix list (excerpt)
1. Homepage hero does not say what you sell
Visitor test: after five seconds, strangers guessed branding, not product. Rewrite the headline to name the product and who it is for. Keep the brand line secondary.
2. Product pages bury shipping and returns
Shipping threshold and returns sit in the footer. Move both next to Add to cart. Add one specific review quote on the first screen.
3. Mobile sticky bar covers the buy button
On iPhone Safari, the announcement bar plus sticky ATC overlaps the real ATC on PDPs. Fix spacing or collapse the announcement after scroll.
4. AI shopping readiness gaps
Top SKUs lack material, size, and ship-time facts in plain language. No Product schema on PDPs. Reviews are generic (“great product”). Fix the top 10 products first.
What you also get
- Video walkthrough of the live path from homepage to checkout
- Written findings you can hand to any developer
- AI shopping readiness notes on the same priority list
- 30-minute call to decide what to implement first
If the audit finds nothing actionable to improve conversion, we refund the $699 AUD in full.
